Blood’s son Peter knows his father was not shy about asking women to model. “Once, when he was visiting me at SUNY Plattsburgh, I took him to the college’s art department where he met a female potter in her thirties. Dad asked her to model and she accepted even though dad lived 2½ hours away. It turned out she was the wife of my Psychology professor from whom I was taking a class in Human Development that semester.”
